The one and only... Farmer Luke!
Luke farms in the Cambridgeshire Fens, growing potatoes, wheat and barley on land shaped by hard work, family roots and a deep love of British farming.
Farming has always been part of Luke’s life. He grew up on a family farm, learning from his dad, Farmer Clive, before going on to study agriculture and build hands-on experience across harvesting, irrigation, potato work and crop management. At just 21, Luke successfully applied for a Cambridgeshire County Farms tenancy, securing his own farm, Daintree, from more than 60 applicants.
What started as 178 acres has grown to around 400 acres through steady graft, reinvestment and care for the land. Today, Luke continues to farm in the Fens with his wife and two sons, growing honest, Fen-grown produce and sharing the reality of modern British farming with customers across the country.
Luke has also built a strong social media following by showing the real, everyday world of British farming — from life in the tractor to the work behind growing, harvesting and selling produce direct from the farm. His online presence helps bring customers closer to the people, land and work behind their food.
Alongside the farm, Luke is passionate about education. Through school visits, NFU Education and the Farmers for Schools programme, he helps young people understand where food comes from, how it is grown, and why British agriculture matters.
His potatoes are grown with care, sold direct from the farm, and backed by a simple belief: people should know more about the farmers behind their food.
Also did we mention Luke has his own CBBies episode!
