The Farmers’ Acre began with a couple of friends trying to help one British farmer reach more customers. What started as a favour quickly showed there was a bigger problem worth solving.

Across the UK, farmers and growers work incredibly hard to produce fresh, honest food. But getting that produce in front of customers online is not always simple.
Building a website, managing products, taking payments, organising delivery and reaching new customers can become a full-time job on top of farming.
We saw that first-hand. So we started with one farmer, one practical idea, and a simple question: could we make selling online easier?
It started with helping someone out.
